The history of ideas is a field of research in history that examines the expression and evolution of human ideas. It is an interdisciplinary science at the intersection of the history of philosophy , the history of science and the history of literature.
The history of ideas has been replaced as concerns historians, by the intellectual history , but some researchers persist in claiming that branch of history, especially historians of political ideas.
