Historical Grammatical
The historical-grammatical method is a hermeneutic of the Bible, that is to say a method of studying and interpreting the text of the Bible. The historical-grammatical method is used, where possible, the historical context of biblical texts, and the initial message that they wanted to convey to the people of the time.
The historical-grammatical uses all available knowledge with respect to a specific text in linguistics , of grammar , of literature , of history , of archeology , of economy and religion. This method seeks to determine the original intent of the author if the understanding of the transition problem. In this sense, the method forms symmetrically opposed postmodern and liberal of deconstruction literary, that the interpretation by the reader is valid at the expense of the author's intention. It also stands apart from biblical literalism , which takes the text at face value without trying to take the necessary perspective to put it in context.
