The Higher National Institute of Agricultural Sciences, Food and Environment, Dijon AgroSup used name, is an institution of higher education and research in French agronomy , based in Dijon.

The Higher National Institute of Agricultural Sciences, Food and Environment is a public institution with scientific, cultural and professional , like large institution within the meaning of Article L. 717-1 of the Education Code, attached to the University of Burgundy. It was created by Decree No. 2009-189 of 18 February 2009.

This property results from the merger of the National Institution of Higher Education Agronomy of Dijon and the National School of Biology applied to nutrition and food, old school house at the University of Burgundy.

Summary

Education

The Higher National Institute of Agricultural Sciences, Food and Environmental essentially provides training of engineers in the fields of agronomy , food science and the environment. It also conducts activities training.

Organization

The property is managed by a Board of Directors assisted by a scientific council, a teachers' council and a board of education and student life. It is under the dual supervision of the Ministry responsible for Higher Education and the Minister for Agriculture.

The board comprises 28 members including representatives of both ministries, the president of the University of Burgundy and local officials, eight persons qualified and elected members representing the lecturers , the students and staff IATOS.

The Executive Director is appointed for five years by the responsible ministers after consulting the Board.
