SUPMECA
The ISMEP (Institut Suprieur de Mcanique de Paris), created in 1948 as a joint initiative of the Federation of Engineering Industries and the Ministry of Education, is a public institution of higher education and research.
From 1956 to 1994 in Paris and Toulon, ISMEP Awarding Engineering Supmca (before 2003 called engineering degree ITSEF)
Admission to the main ISMEP comes at bac +2 level, through the Common Polytechnic Contest .
Engineering training Supmca combines a strong scientific base with industrial experience. Three years of training, 52 weeks are spent training. The training includes mandatory and elective science courses, lessons in economics, social sciences and humanities, as well as two foreign languages including English, first and second years of teaching sector in the last year.
Students can choose one of the following fields:
- Materials and Processes (MP).
- Mechatronics (mechatronics).
- Automated Systems and Industrial Processes (formerly MS SAPI).
- Structures and Mechanical Assemblies (SEM).
Each of these courses offer a parallel course. The last year can also be done in a partner or not network Polymca ( ENSMA , ENSMM , ENSIAME , ENSIB , ENSTA Britain , ENSCI ) and abroad.
Internationally
Students who wish may make their last year in one of the partner universities of the most prestigious. Some examples:
As part of a dual degree course
Germany Esslingen_University_of_Applied_Sciences , RWTH Aachen University. Italy Milan Polytechnic , Polytechnic of Turin. In Great Britain Cranfield University , University of Southampton. Sweden Chalmers tekniska Hgskola , Royal Institute of Technology - KTH. Denmark Technical University of Denmark , Aalborg University. Swiss Ecole Polytechnique Federale de Lausanne. United States Illinois Institute of Technology , University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign
Also in India, Australia, China ...
As part of a non-degree courses including (partial list)
Network of the University of Quebec: Ecole Polytechnique of Montreal , University of Quebec at Trois-Rivieres , Concordia University. Netherlands Technische Universiteit Delft. Germany Dresden University of Technology
National level
Last year may also take place in schools network Polymeca : ENSMA ENSTA Britain , ENSMM , ENSIAME , ENSIB , ENSCI or: National School of IFP , National Institute of Nuclear Science and Technology , International School of Sciences Information Processing (EIST), National School of electronics and its applications (ENSEA), TBI
