These grades, and the allocation of ECTS credits , European harmonization and allows easy mobility.

    Courses

    Higher technician certificate

The higher technical sections, generally located in high schools, can study for two years the technical certificate (BTS) in a specialized field of tertiary or technological. This diploma allows immediate integration into working life.

This training is intended both career development, often with a compulsory internship and the ability to directly enter the workforce, and theoretical and leading into a professional license, or a general school of engineering or business.

    The general university courses

    • The license is a generalist degree obtainable after three years of education (bac + 3),
    • the master finds that two years of study after the Licence (bac + 5),
    • the Ph.D. after a research (thesis) usually lasting three years (bac + 8).

These degrees are awarded in all fields (Science, Humanities, Law, Economics, Languages, Arts, Management, Humanities ...).

    Training on the map

Some high-level multidisciplinary curriculum are possible in large institutions of public higher education and research as the Conservatoire National des Arts et Metiers.
