Healing
Healing is a biological process by which the body's cells regenerate to reduce the space of a region damaged by necrosis. Healing involves the removal of damaged tissue and replacing the fabric.
The replacement can happen in two ways:
- By regeneration: the necrotic cells are replaced by the same fabric as before;
- By repair: the original tissue is replaced by scar tissue.
Most organs can heal using a mixture of both processes.
In the paranormal , it retains some of the phenomena of miraculous healing.
It is recognized that medicine helps healing, but does not cure. medicine relieves the patient by reducing inflammation, pain and sometimes replacing the affected tissue, at other times by increasing the immune system, or by inhibiting the action of bacteria or viruses.
Theory of Healing
The body has ways of healing. It holds in itself all the means necessary to eliminate or control disease. It is imperative that these resources are free to operate so that the elimination of waste and cellular nutrition can proceed normally. The human body has the ability to regain its balance physical, biochemical, mental, or energy ( Chinese medicine ). This concept is explained by the homeostasis : that is to say the power of the body to maintain all of its physiological components to stable values. This theory is based on the fact that "The whole exceeds the sum of its parts. The body and mind are united." We find this vision "holistic" healing in the principles of osteopathy for example References
