Gerard Mordillat And Jerome Prieur
Directors and screenwriters , writers and essayists, Gerard Mordillat and Jerome Prieur came to prominence in 1997 with their series Corpus Christi (documentary) , composed of ten programs on Jesus , on the Franco-German channel Arte. This first series, which analyzes a historical point of view the texts of the Gospels, has led them to renew the principle of series. With the Origin of Christianity (documentary) in 2003 and the Apocalypse in 2008, they investigated the emergence of Christianity in the Judeo-Roman.

The assembly confronts the views of respondents indicating most often the agreements and some disagreements on each issue in isolation from the real first and sincere desire of many players. The authors do not talk to each other than because of mounting and that's the whole basis of the severe criticisms directed to the method chosen by Prieur and Mordillat. For viewers who know the history of ancient Judaism, the stakes of the debate are obvious to the general public, the series is a successful extension and makes me want to go further by directly consulting the works of the surveyed researchers.
