Galatia
Galatia was a region of Anatolia , Ankara , whose name comes from Galatians , peoples Celtic , which in the ancient world , have migrated.
Geographically, it is bordered by the kingdom of Pontus and Paphlagonia north of Cappadocia to the east, the kingdom of Pergamum in the south and Bithynia in the west.
Galatia was conquered by Rome in 189 BC. AD and became a Roman province in 25 BC. AD. It was evangelized in the early days of the Christian era.
