Five Points Of Calvinism
The five points of Calvinism are:
- total human depravity ,
- unconditional election / predestination ,
- limited atonement or particular redemption,
- with irresistible
- final perseverance of the saints.
They summarize the five canons adopted at the Synod of Dordrecht (Dordt / Dort) in 1618 by the Reformed Church of the United Provinces. The decisions of the Synod of Dort were confirmed by the Reformed Church of France at the national synod of Als in 1620.
