First Epistle To Timothy
The first epistle to Timothy is a book of the New Testament.

This is one of the three Pastoral Epistles , with the second epistle to Timothy and the Epistle to Titus.
Paul wrote the first letter after his first imprisonment. He had left Timothy in Ephesus , intending to return later (1 Tim 3:14). But he thought it might be delayed, he wrote to Timothy , perhaps Macedonia (1 Timothy 1:3), to give advice and encouragement on the performance of his duty.
