The Financial Times (FT) is a daily economic and financial UK , but the majority of players live in other countries since 1998. It is generally considered the economic daily reference in Europe. Taken in 2006 to more than 400,000 copies, the FT would have about 1.6 million readers. He is particularly grateful to his salmon-colored pages.

Launched on 9 January 1888 under the title of London Financial Guide by Horatio Bottomley , it is renamed from the February 13 Financial Times.
In 1997 , the Financial Times has launched its American version and 2000 , the German version, in German, the FT Deutschland.

The journal is divided into two books, one of several national and international information, the other on business news and financial markets.
Group
The FT Group , a subsidiary of Pearson PLC , owns among other 50% of the weekly The Economist. He sold his stake in Les Echos.
