Faisal ibn Hussein ( Arabic) ( 20 May 1883 - 8 September 1933 ), son of Hussein ibn Ali , sharif of Mecca and King of the Hejaz , was ruler of the Kingdom of Iraq from 1921 to 1933, after being briefly King of Syria in 1920. It is part of the lineage Hashemite dating back to the Prophet of Islam Mohammed.
He leads the great Arab revolt against the forces of Ottoman , leading the northern army of forty thousand men. He explains:
