Ephesians
The Epistle to the Ephesians is a book of the New Testament. The text consists of a letter sent by the apostle Paul to the Church of Ephesus (located in modern Turkey). It plays an important role in Christianity, because it contains the teachings of Paul concerning the Church of Christ.
Ephesians corresponds to chapters 18 and 19 of the Acts of the Apostles.
Summary
Chapter 1 contains the usual greeting. Chapters 2 and 3 explain the change that occurs in people when they become members of the Church : they become citizens of the saints, pagans and Jews are united in one Church. Chapters 4-6 explain the role of apostles and prophets , the need for unity and that to take the whole armor of God.
