Encephalization
In comparative anatomy , the term encephalization is two concepts distinct but related. On the one hand, the encephalization refers to the gap measured between the size of the brain in a species animal relative to the size theoretically calculated from the size of the rest of the body. In a second sense, the phenomenon encephalization means of increasing the size of the brain , especially compared to the rest of the body , observed during the evolution. The concept of tlencephalisation further identifies the increased size of the forebrain that reflects the selection pressure exerted on the building cognitive agencies and especially during the human evolution.
