Dialogue Between The Roman Catholic Church And The Apostolic Assyrian Church Of The East
An Interfaith Dialogue between the Roman Catholic Church and the Assyrian Apostolic Church of the East existed officially since the 1960's to improve their relations and resolve different interpretations.
This dialogue is conducted in particular at the International Joint Commission for Theological Dialogue between the Catholic Church and the Assyrian Apostolic Church of the East since 1995.
This dialogue focuses on both the Mariology and Christology , it is a part of the identification of the Virgin Mary to the Theotokos and the other the relationship between humanity and divinity of Christ as defined in the symbol of Chalcedon.
