Dialogue Between The Orthodox And Oriental Orthodox Churches
An Interfaith Dialogue between the Orthodox Church and Eastern Orthodox churches are officially since the 1960's to improve their relations and achieve a negotiated doctrinal disputes.
This dialogue is conducted on both sides, in a unified way (within the Joint Commission for Theological Dialogue between the Orthodox and Oriental Orthodox Churches) or a bilateral level between the different local churches.
The dialogue between the two Orthodox families focuses on Christology , he is to reach agreement on the Common Christological vocabulary used on one side by the symbol of Chalcedon , on the other by Patriarch Cyril of Alexandria.
