Dhu Al Hijjah
Dhu al-Hijjah ( Arabic : , is the twelfth month of the Muslim calendar. It is marked by the Hajj (Arabic: "pilgrimage"), which takes place during the first ten days of this month.
- The tenth day marks the Eid al Adha , the feast celebrating the sacrifice of Ishmael by Abraham.
- The ninth day is Traditional fasted because it coincides with the station Arafat during the Hajj.
This is one of the four sacred months of Islam Muharram , Rajab and qi `da Dhu al.
