Daniel Marguerat

Marguerat Daniel, born in 1943, is professor of New Testament at the University of Lausanne from 1984 to 2008 , former dean of the faculty of theology at the university, and former president of the Federation of Schools of Theology Geneva-Lausanne-Neuchtel.

His work includes the issue of the Jesus of history and construction of the Pauline theology. He also worked hard to discover the biblical narratology in Francophone.

Recognized expert on the origins of Christianity and the book of Acts, he has published numerous books and articles on these topics.

He published in 2007 commented on the Acts of the Apostles to the publisher Labor et Fides , in the collection reviews the New Testament.
