Culture Of Morocco

Moroccan Living

Its geographic location makes Morocco a multicultural country, given the diversity of its population Arab , African and Berber. This mosaic of ethnic groups in Morocco gives an important place in the cultural field.

Morocco is a country of ancient tradition in which the opening to the world by its geographical position at the crossroads of continents is not new but dates back to ancient times. But Islam has a profound personality that has shaped Moroccan culture intimately tied to religion that permeate the rules of conduct and ethics of exchange based on a sense of reserve and modesty genuine. And although modernity understood as adopting the model of Western life seems to be gaining ground at the risk of intimidating and provoking the fundamental secular culture, the fact remains that this opening should not be construed as a complete abandonment Moroccan cultural exception, but more as a kind of existential search that is not slow in desperation to return to the roots, what's true and deep in every Moroccan whatever its degree of modernization, because after while an opening is never at the expense of identity without risking the destruction of landmarks and the exception is so dear to the phenomenon of diversity and so hateful to the apostles of mimicry and standardization to the bottom of the crops. An alien who comes to work or invest in Morocco must understand the psychology of Moroccans and do not be misled by appearances, and must remember that it is in a country that without love is imperative to respect, and not the considered vulgar Wild West or a no man's land where it would come with the pretentious condescension to despise culture, habits and customs of Morocco and behave in a conquered country. Tolerance that characterizes Moroccan does not mean permission to insult their culture, rape their exception or exploit their talents. As it is useful to recall that Morocco is a great country because of its history and its memory where you can learn a lot for that may have the ability to listen, respect and duty. Songs and Dances
