The Cornell University is a university American private belonging to the Ivy League. It is therefore one of the most prestigious universities and famous the world . It is based in the small city of Ithaca in the New York State , north-eastern United States.

Summary

History

Founded in 1865 by Ezra Cornell and Andrew Dickson White , it was opened in 1868 with the construction of Morrill Hall was the first building on the main campus in Ithaca.

In 1913 , from 29 August to 20 September , the Cornell Cosmopolitan Club of Cornell University has organized the 8th and penultimate meeting of the Corda Fratres , International students .
