The Church of True Orthodox Christians of Greece - Lamian Synod is one of many canonical Orthodox Churches, old-calendar and traditionalists of Greece. The origin of the rupture is the unilateral adoption by the Orthodox Church of Greece , self-proclaimed "official" and "canonical", the Gregorian calendar in 1924. The head of the Church carries the title of Archbishop of Athens and all Greece, with residence in Athens (incumbent: Makarios I).
