Church Aghbanie
The Church of Aghbanie was a church established in the Caucasus in the ancient kingdom of Aghbanie (Caucasian Albania), mainly on the present territory of the Republic of Azerbaijan. She was tied for most of its history to the Armenian Church , but also to the Church of Georgia. Its primacy, which bore the title of Catholicos of Aghbanie, acknowledged the primacy of honor of the Catholicos of all Armenians. The Church has disappeared in 1815 due to the power tsarist.

The Aghbanie was Christianized from the Armenia to the fifth century. Church and state were closely linked and Catholicosate of autocephalous Aghbanie was introduced.
