Capodimonte Museum Of Naples
The Capodimonte Museum in Naples (in Italian is one of the most important museums of Naples , located at 1, via Miano, inside the park namesake, in a building named built to Charles de Bourbon king of Naples , by the Roman architect Antonio Canevari.
First there is a large art gallery which preserves and exhibits works, among others, Giovanni Bellini , Sandro Botticelli , Caravaggio , Annibale Carracci , Artemisia Gentileschi , Francisco Goya , Simone Martini , Masaccio , Titian ...
There is also a large collection of ceramics and majolica , and, outside, botanic garden and the original hunting lodge.

In 1738, Charles VII, king of Naples and Sicily (later Charles III, King of Spain) decided to build a hunting lodge (casino di caccia) on the hill of Capodimonte. He then turned to the construction of the Reggia di Capodimonte, according to the plans of Antonio Canevari and Giovanni Antonio Medrano (architect of the operas of Naples) to host the prestigious art collection inherited from his mother Collections
