Capital (Architecture)
In architecture , a marquee is a piece of flared crowning a column and send him the charges to be worn. From a decorative standpoint, it is the crowning the top of a pole , a column , a pillar , a pillar , etc..
The classical architectural orders are easily recognized by their marquee: Tuscan order , Doric , Ionic , Corinthian and composite order.
