Walloon Brabant is a province of Belgium located in the Walloon Region.
It is located in the center of Belgium. It is placed under the guardianship of the Walloon region but is strongly polarized by Brussels, which is peri urban expansion.
The province had 373,492 inhabitants in 2008 and a density of 336 inhabitants / km 2 in 2006.
Its area is 1090 km 2. The chief town of the province is Wavre.
The province is composed only of district administrative and judicial of Nivelles comprising 27 municipalities, including the capital district is Nivelles.
The western province is more populated than the East.
The main towns are Wavre , Waterloo , Eigenbrakel , Nivelles , Tubize , Rixensart , Ottignies-Louvain-la-Neuve and Jodoigne
