Ben Cahoon
Ben Cahoon (born 16 July 1972 in Ogden , Utah ) is a Canadian football player Montreal Alouettes. He won the award for best Canadian football player awarded by the Canadian Football League twice, in 2002 and 2003. He was also voted best player of the Montreal team in the history of the Alouettes, for fans of the team.
Cahoon played for Brigham Young University in Provo in the Utah. He won the 91st Grey Cup with Montreal in 2002 and was voted best player of the tournament. He wears the number 86 of the Alouettes. Ben holds the record for the greatest number of touchdowns in the Alouettes (55) since July 4, 2008.
He won the 2009 Grey Cup in Calgary on November 29 by a score of 28-27 against the Saskatchewan Roughriders.
On 11 October 2010 at Montreal's McGill Stadium during a game against the Calgary Stampeders, he established a new record for the largest number of passes captured during a career (1007), dethroning former record holder, Terry Vaughn (1006).
On 26 January 2011, he announced his retirement.
