Baruch Ben Neria
Baruch Ben Neria was a disciple and companion of Jeremiah , he followed in Egypt during the capture of Jerusalem by Nebuchadnezzar II. The Israelite tribe of Judah , he predicated around the year 606 BCE. Considered a prophet by Jerome , it is not by Jews or the Protestants.
After the death of Jeremiah, he joined the Judeans captive to Babylon. There he published his prophecies , in which one finds an eloquence that inspires La Fontaine. The Jews and Protestants do not recognize as canonical books of Baruch, which is higher than in Greek.
