Barjsu
Threadbare struck with blindness, Raphael.
Barjsu ( lat. Arch. bed. "son of Jesus"), also called Elymas ("the Wise"), is a magician or sorcerer Jew in chapter 13 of the Acts of the Apostles in the New Testament.
In the Acts of the Apostles , Elymas is called "magician", " false prophet, a Jew. " Arrived in Paphos in Cyprus , Paul of Tarsus and Saint Barnabas face opposition from Bar-Jesus when Sergius Paulus, proconsul of Rome, asked them to come talk to him about Jesus. Paul says that therefore God has decided to make Barjsu temporarily blind. He loses sight instantly and Sergius Paulus was converted to Christianity.
