Bar Hadad Ii
Hadadezer also known as Bar-Hadad II ( Aramaic ), Ben-Hadad II ( Hebrew ) or Adad-Idri ( Akkadian ) was the king of Damascus at the battle of Qarqar. With Irhuleni of Hama , he formed a coalition of eleven kings against the king Assyrian Shalmaneser III to Qarqar. He personally fought six times and twice more with the help of Irhuleni and perhaps the rest of the coalition. It appears again on the inclusion of the stele from Tel Dan, probably as a father of unknown author. Hazael took his estate in the sweltering in his sleep. Some historians argue that Hazael was actually his son.
