The Rise of a grandmaster Goa'uld
It is a great teacher Goa'uld having done work on gravity. Thus, in one episode Jack O'Neill is captured by Ba'al, who is tortured and kept prisoner by sophisticated devices. The first appearance of Baal took place in episodes 15 and 16 of season 5 , where he attended a meeting with the other Grand Masters. We could not then be considered a major Goa'uld. However, it became more and more importance in the community of masters at the 8 th season because he possessed a powerful fleet and had profited by spreading a virus in the network of Stargate (originally created by Ferger and amended by Nerus ). Indeed, Ba'al managed to capture a large part of the fleet of Anubis , as well as the powerful warrior Kull of the latter, defeated on Earth. With this superiority of force composed of space ships Ha'tak , he emerged briefly on other Goa'uld, becoming a threat to the Goa'uld so great that they even induced into negotiations with the Tau'ri In Service of Anubis Actually, Baal became faster, with confidence, "the partner" who had to obey Anubis , having understood that he could not die by conventional means, his mind may each escape its physical host and even survive in space. Having no choice, reluctantly served Ba'al latter to seek weapons of Veterans to reshape the universe, which was on Dakara. He made an essential contribution to the destruction of the Replicators by helping Samantha Carter and Selmak to operate the Dakara weapon, and asking Nerus to find a way to open the doors of the stars simultaneously. This makes the wave generated by the weapon could spread throughout the galaxy and destroy all of a sudden, the Replicators. Ba'al lost 75% of his ships in this battle to attack the Replicators in effect for the delay. The rest of the fleet was taken later by the rebel Jaffa. The rest of its fleet had been captured after the battle, he was exiled to another world (the fate decided that this world is the Earth ...). During the season 9 , Baal can be considered a Goa'uld apart because he realizes that, unlike his peers, his empire was destroyed and his race has lost its status of "god". For the first time in the history of Stargate SG-1, a Goa'uld has admitted that some of his fellow men can believe their own propaganda and believe they are true "gods." He later appeared again in the series as a wealthy industrialist Ground (episode 07 of season 9, Terre d'Asile), known to the media, and apparently wanting to live the rest of his life in peace on Earth, which was not welcomed by everyone, including the Jaffa High Council, who undertook to capture him. Friction and appeared between the GSC and Jaffa , the GSC has indeed learned that Ba'al had hidden a powerful bomb naquadah their territory, asking to Jaffa to stop their actions. Finally, the Jaffa managed to capture a man-like Ba'al and they killed him. However, CMS discovered that Baal had begun work on cloning, and it was duplicated in a series of clones. The Ba'al killed by Jaffa was a clone. With the help of the Brotherhood (the PID has also always said that Ba'al was at the height of the Brotherhood), the latter had indeed succeeded in making many clones.Ba al managed to leave the planet. Even having lost all its field, and the bulk of his army, he managed to remain a permanent threat, competing ingenuity to try to find a new empire. For his determination to return to the front of the stage, even when hope seemed annihilated, it could be the last great master Goauld still alive and still threatening. Without anyone really knows how Ba'al managed to keep several planets under his tutelage, and even Jaffa, as well as vessels. His obstinacy, giving the illusion of immortality, has probably reached the heart of many loyal Jaffa. Of course, it does not have a real army, but sufficient resources to remain a threat. His first attempt to rebuild his empire will be to manipulate the Jaffa High Council, to take control . Having always clearly links with the Brotherhood, he managed to handle more members of the High Council with a device to brainwash them, and they can gradually grow in importance. Unfortunately for him, he will be discovered, and will fail in its takeover. Baal confessed in season 10 that the ultimate objective of this takeover was to use the weapon on Dakara to destroy all life on the galaxy (except his own) to become the absolute master of the galaxy, and, incidentally, to get rid of Ori. Not having had the last word, then Ba'al attempt to build a new empire, flying it for multiple Stargate to relocate to remote planets, using for this teleporters Asgard. Having already managed to steal a couple of doors, it will ultimately fail, because of Nerus a captured Goa'uld on Earth who, without realizing it, has implanted in him a spy, and cause loss Ba'al. This will be the last attempt to rebuild his empire Ba'al season 09. Often, as in the takeover of the High Council, Baal will be defended by claiming that the Jaffa needed a new leader to guide them against the Ori. Obviously, the new chief could only be himself. While the Ori invade the galaxy without anyone manages to stop them, Ba'al sees an opportunity to regain its former empire. At first, as it tries to find the weapon of Merlin. With no runway, it will send a clone to Earth on a spaceship that will crash . Said clone then pretend to be the real Ba'al, wanting to get rid of its clones, in effect saying that they want to overthrow him after his failures with Ba'al more difficult to control because of their "ego Oversized. In return, Ba'al claims to have information that would drastically reduce the scope of research of the planets believed to contain weapons that could destroy the Ori. Ba'al is known that once, O'Neill found himself in contact with an apparatus of Veterans , acquiring and knowledge, and entering a series of coordinates in the central database of CMS . The GSC capture Ba'al and all, trying to determine which is true. It is actually a plot, with the Ba'al within a contact that allows them involuntarily to escape with the coordinates once returned by O'Neill. Ba'al will run and turn in the quest for the Grail. It will then arrive to find the first planet that is supposed to be this famous weapon, beating a few weeks SG1 . Unfortunately for him, Ba'al will fail to solve only one of the puzzles scattered on the road this object is then abandoned by the accompanying Jaffa, and will ally with SG1. Finally, after much discussion, it will not only not to recover the Grail, but there will also lose a clone. Towards the end of the season 10 , Ba'al implement a new plan to control the galaxy. SG1 while trying to capture Adria , Baal comes just in time, and manages to capture it, enclosing it in a cage containing a jammer inhibiting completely, but temporarily, the emergency powers of oricy (technology similar to that of Tau'ri). Ba'al's plan is to locate in Adria to control and, hence, control the entire military origin. Ba'al is so sure of his plan he was even allowed to kill all his clones. SG1 attempt to intervene to capture Adria and kill Ba'al think. The team actually kills its host, Ba'al has had time to settle in it. SG1 will then call for help of the Tok'ra to extract the symbiote. They reach it, but let Baal in the body of its new host, a deadly poison, which will force it to make the Ascension. Meanwhile, it is unclear what will happen to the Ba'al symbiote. Without a host, and in the hands of the Tok'ra , we can however conclude that Ba'al has lost, and be able to probably not rebuild its empire. Some clones of Baal were able to survive despite the failure of the real Baal, according to members of SG1. In the second TV movie, Stargate: Continuum , Ba'al still managed to threaten the entire galaxy. The last clone of Ba'al (which everyone thought was dead, he and his clones) was captured by the Tok'ra and assists in his last moments, the organizing Tok'ra execution. Of course, SG1 attending the event, when Ba'al claims to be only the last of all clones. The real Ba'al, the original is still alive, and now seems to be forced to shoot his final shot to reverse the situation. Indeed, all Goa'uls were eradicated, and the last Ba'al seems to be still alive. While the last clone dies, the original organizing a final attack of changing the course of time, to ensure that the Stargate program never existed, destroying it for the Stargate on the Tau'ri ! But after many vicissitudes, Mitchell manages to go back in time 10 years before the arrival of Baal and killed in 1939 aboard the Achilles. Ba'al is probably the smartest and most powerful Goa'uld in our time, despite the passage of Anubis. It is also the last Goa'uld that SG-1 was finally put out of harm's way. Without minimizing the power of Anubis, it must do to Desala Oma , an Ancient who had offered the Ascension. Without this, Anubis was a Grand Master like many others. Ba'al has never served in fear, and he waited patiently for the fault or solution that would allow him to beat him. His patience was beneficial to him, and Anubis was made by stopping the former who had brought him. After that, Ba'al took the place of Anubis in the Goa'uld Empire, trying to unite under his command last Goa'uld. Like most Goa'uld, Baal is being very selfish, seemingly hate more than anything Jack O'Neill, who continues to mock him when he gets the chance, even if it means the bring to defy logic. Thus, when Ba'al offered to ally with the Tau'ri against the Replicators, O'Neill chose to mock him openly. However, Ba'al is distinguished from many other Goa'uld by his side manipulator and thoughtful. He is clever, even managing to capture Anubis troops when it will be defeated, even if he had used previously. Ba'al manages every time to represent a threat, not devoid of ideas to regain its former power. Careful, it will even be cloned, which made it very difficult to eliminate. On the planet Earth
