Asmaa Bint Abu Bakr

Asmaa bint Abu Bakr (in Arabic : asma bint Abi Bakr, ) is the daughter of Abu Bakr. Her mother is Qutaylah bint Abd al-Uzza, which made her half-sister of Aisha and Muhammad ibn Abu Bakr. It plays an important role during the early years of Islam.

Asmaa is the eighteenth person converts to Islam. She later received the nickname Dhat an-Nitaqayn (the one with two belts) because of an incident from Muhammad and his father from Mecca to Medina , at the AH.

She married Zubayr bin al-Awwam and gives him two son, Abdullah ibn az-Zubayr , the first Muslim born in Medina after the Hejira, and Urwa ibn az-Zubayr.

In 692 , his son, Abdullah ibn az-Zubayr had visited him for advice: his troops being abused by those of Al-Hajjaj bin Yusef , he would have received offers of negotiation by messengers of Umayyads offering him the life saving and a fee, provided that it lays down arms and swear allegiance to Abdul Malik bin Marwan. In this episode, Asmaa allegedly replied: "What are your business, Abdullah, and you know the answer better than me. But if you think you are in your right and defend the Truth, then persevere and fight with the same perseverance that your companions have died under your banner showed. But if you want the world, how miserable you will do! Thou shalt be destroyed and you have destroyed your men! "

`Abdullah died the same day, followed ten days later by his mother, then Centennial.
