The Armenian Patriarchate of Jerusalem or the Apostolic See of St. Jacques in Jerusalem (in Armenian is an autonomous jurisdiction of the Armenian Apostolic Church in the Holy Land. The Patriarch of the Armenian Apostolic throne of St. Jacques of Jerusalem lies the monastery of Saint-Jacques in the Old City of Jerusalem (incumbent: Torkom Manougian II since 1990 ).

History
The Armenian Patriarchate of Jerusalem was founded in 638 by the Catholicos of Armenia to compete with the Orthodox Patriarchate of the city. The Armenian Patriarch of Jerusalem is under the authority of the Catholicos of Armenia.
The church of the patriarchate is the cathedral of Saint-Jacques in the Armenian Quarter , which dates from the twelfth century.
