Anas Ibn Malik
Anas ibn Malik ( 612 - 712 ) is one of the companions of the Prophet ( Sahabi ) of Islam Muhammad who lived the longest. His real name was Anas ibn Malik ibn al-Nadar Khazraji al-Ansari . After the death of her husband, remarried Rumaysa Abu Talha ibn Thabit (in) , the father `Abdullah ibn Talha . From the age of 8 years, Anas became a faithful companion of Muhammad and remained with him until his death . He also had a brother by the name of Al-Bara 'ibn Malik (in) who also was a Muslim and companion of Muhammad.
After the death of Muhammad in 632 , Anas participated in the conquests of Islam which he commanded the cavalry during the siege of the strong fortress of Shushtar in Persia where he lost his brother Bara 'who died a "martyr" in trying to save him. He then went to Damascus and moved to Basra in Iraq where he remained until his death at age 100. He was the last Sahabi Abu Tufayl to die after and in person known Abu Hanifa , founder of the first of four major schools ( madhhab ) of Islamic jurisprudence , which made the latter an Tabi'i (person known least one of the Sahaba). It is said that he would have had 120 children .
Anas ibn Malik reported 1266 ahadith which 168 are in Saheeh al-Bukhari and Sahih Muslim. It is thus regarded by Sunni Muslims as one of the greatest narrators, trustworthy and the best part Sahaba.
