The text of the Acts of the Apostles

Saul got up and, although he had his eyes opened, he saw nothing. They took him by the hand to get him into Damascus.
For three days he was deprived of sight and he remained without food or drink.
Now there was in Damascus a disciple named Ananias. In a vision, the Lord called him: "Ananias! He replied: "I am here, Lord. "
The Lord replied: "Arise, go to the street right, in Jude: you ask a man named Saul of Tarsus. It is in prayer, and he had this vision: a man named Ananias come in and his hands on him to restore his sight. "
Ananias answered, "Lord, I heard a lot about this man, and all the harm he has done to your saints in Jerusalem. If here is that the chief priests gave him the power to arrest all who call upon thy name. "
But the Lord said to him: "Go! this man is my chosen instrument to carry my name before the Gentiles and kings and son of Israel. And I will show him how much he must suffer for my name. "
So Ananias departed and entered the house. He laid his hands on Saul, saying: "Saul, my brother, who sent me, the Lord is Jesus, who has shown you on the path you followed to come here. Thus, you will regain his sight, and thou shalt be filled with the Holy Spirit. "
Immediately fell from his eyes something like scales, and he regained his sight. He rose and was baptized.
Then he took food and was strengthened.
