Amos (Prophet)
Amos is the third of the twelve minor prophets. He is the author of one of the books of the Tanakh or Old Testament.
He was a shepherd and a native of Tekoa (or Thcu) near Jerusalem in Judea. He prophesied during the reign of Azariah king of Judah , against the rich and powerful, hypocritically devout or idolaters displayed.
