Grillmeier Alois, born in Pechbrunn in Germany on 1January 1910 and died on 13 September 1998 , was a Jesuit and Cardinal German.

Priest
Alois Grillmeier was ordained priest on 24 June 1937 for the Society of Jesus (Jesuits).
It teaches fundamental and dogmatic theology from 1948 to 1978 Pullach , and then to Frankfurt. He is particularly recognized for his contributions in Christology.
Cardinal
It was created cardinal by Pope John Paul II , not voter for then aged 84, at the consistory of 26 November 1994 with the title of cardinal-deacon of S. Nicola in Carcere.
