Alexei Chirikov
Aleksei Ilyich Chirikov (in Russian : , 1703 - November 1748 ) was a navigator and explorer Russian.
In 1721 , Chirikov graduated from the Naval Academy in St. Petersburg and served in the Russian fleet from the Baltic. In 1725-1730 and 1733-1743, the captain of a ship, second Vitus Bering in his two expeditions to Kamchatka.
