Alexander of Alexandria St. Alexander, Patriarch of Alexandria , was born about 250. He succeeds Achilles in 313. He died peacefully on 17 April 326 (or 328 History and tradition

Patriarch of Alexandria at the time of the Edict of Milan and the late persecution, Alexander reorganized the Church of Egypt.

In Alexandria , he built the great Church of St. Theonas.

It keeps him letters and a homily ( CPG 2000 to 2021).
