Albert Bayet

Bayet Albert, born in Lyon on 1February 1880 and died in Paris on 26 June 1961 , is a sociologist French, a professor at the Sorbonne and the Ecole Pratique des Hautes Etudes.

He is the son of Charles Bayet Byzantine art historian, director of higher education, and the son of the historian Alphonse Aulard. Normale , he is an Associate of letters in 1901 and Doctor of Letters in 1922, then Professor at Lycee Louis-le-Grand. In 1923 he became director of studies in "History of moral ideas" of the Ecole Pratique des Hautes Etudes , then lecturer of morals to the Sorbonne Books
