Al Juzjani
Abu Ubaid al-Juzjani, born in 980 and died in 1037 , is a doctor Persia , from Juzjan in Afghanistan and biographer of Avicenna.
He was a pupil of the famous Avicenna, whom he met in Gorgan. He accompanied his master to Isfahan , where he stayed with him for many years. In fact, if you know so well the life of physician and philosopher Persian is largely thanks to the biography of al-Juzjani, which has reached us. It is published in English by the UNESCO in 1950 under the title Avicenna, His Life and Work.
