Al Bara 39Ibn Malik

Al-Bara 'ibn Malik . It was physically quite thin and her hair was disordered . His mother's name Rumaysa Milhan bint (in). It belonged to the Banu Najjar (en) and was nicknamed Umm Sulaym. He gained a strong reputation for his courage especially during the Battle of Al-Yamama (in) which opposed Muslims Musaylima said Al-Kadhdhab (the liar, the fraudster), which took place shortly thereafter died Muhammad and where many Muslim soldiers fell. During the battle, Khalid ibn al-Walid , who commanded the different factions of the Muslim army, asked Al-Bara 'load' load, O young man from the Ansar ! He succeeded in the garden outside the entrance, came to survive the attacks of enemy soldiers who inflicted him more than eighty wounds but he managed to open the door for the military Muslim can enter the fortress and even some soldiers kill some before that. We can say that thanks to him that Muslims have won this match with Musaylima and his army. His willingness to reach out to the death uttered ` Umar ibn al-Khattab advised not to give him the post of responsibility in the Muslim troops.

He died in 640 during the siege of the strong fortress of Shushtar in Persia by climbing the walls trying to save his brother Anas, who was clinging to the hot iron hooks that the Persians had thrown down from their fortress .
