Al Baidawi

Abdullah ibn Omar al-Baidawi, "said Al Baidawi (in Arabic ) is a critic and a theologian, a Muslim born in Fars , where his father was a function of judge at the time of the domination of Abu Bakr ibn Sa 's ( 1226 - 1260 ). He himself became a judge in Shiraz , in Iran , and died at Tabriz to 1286.

His principal work was a commentary on Koran entitled The Secrets of Revelation and the Secrets of the Interpretation (Asrar ut-ut-Asrar wa tanzil ta'wil). This text is essentially inspired by the great commentary of al-Kashshaf Zamakhshari , with omissions and additional notes. The Muslim orthodox view it as a reference comment, almost sacred, while others believe that its treatment of issues theological or language is incomplete and sometimes inaccurate.
