Abu Talib

Abu Talib (c. 550-619) was a paternal uncle of Muhammad. With his father Abd al-Muttalib , he raised it after the death of his mother Amina in 577 , his father Abdullah had died shortly before his birth in 570.

Abu Talib was the father of the first imam and fourth caliph Ali , husband of Fatima , son of Muhammad and the first child to believe in his prophecy.

But Abu Talib is not considered a companion of Muhammad because he died in 619 without believing in the prophecy of the latter References
