Abu Fuhayra

Abu Fuhayra was a companion of the Prophet of Islam Mohammed. He was a slave in the pre-Islamic period ( Jahiliya ) and was freed by Abu Bakr as-Siddiq with seven others: Bilal ibn Ribah Abu Fakih, Ammar ibn Yasir , Lubaynah (fr) , Nabdiya, Umm Ubay (in) , and Zinni . He was tending his sheep around the cave to cover their tracks and also offered them milk and meat. He died in 624 at the Battle of Badr pierced by spear. He cried victory at that time, which astonished his opponent. Later, Muhammad said it was because he saw heaven and angels raised it ^Notes
