Abdullah Ibn Salam

Abdullah ibn Salaam ( Arabic : ) was a companion of the Prophet of Islam Muhammad and was a famous rabbi before his conversion to Islam . He was highly respected and honored by the people of the city, even by those who were not Jewish. Before converting, he spent time each day for worship, a time for teaching in the synagogue and a time for learning and meditating on the Torah ( Torah ). The tradition reports about it ( Isra'iliyat ) , many of them in the comments of the Koran to Tabari ( 839 - 923 ).

A narrative tells the story in which Muhammad asked the Jews of Medina about Ibn Salam. When he realized he had become Muslim, they disowned . Sa `d ibn Abi Waqqas added to this story that verse as verse 10 of Surat Al-Ahqaf refers to this reaction: " Say: "What will you say if

Knowing the Torah , Abdullah ibn Salam inquired Abdullah ibn Abbas when he asked about the Prophet Uzair mentioned the Quran in verse 30 of sura 9 (At-Tawbah) and told him he was of Ezra. This was regarded as the son of God by some movements Jews , mostly those who resided in Medina in the time of Muhammad. Ibn Salam, Allah would have killed 100 years, then would have risen . He also told how he rewrote them for the Torah he knew by heart. The Israelites said, " Musa ( Moses ) could not give us the Torah in a book, but we brought Uzair without books, "and so few Jews claimed that he was the son of Allah.

Abdullah participated in the conquests of Syria and Palestine . He had two son Mohammed and Yusuf .
